About the Mizoram State Medical Council
The Mizoram State Medical Council (MSMC) is a statutory body constituted under the Mizoram Medical Council Act, responsible for the registration and regulation of medical practitioners across the state of Mizoram.
Our Mission
To ensure that only duly qualified medical practitioners are registered and that they uphold the ethical standards required of the medical profession, thereby protecting public health and safety.
Our Functions
- Maintaining an up-to-date register of qualified medical practitioners in Mizoram.
- Issuing registration certificates to eligible practitioners.
- Renewing memberships on an annual basis.
- Investigating complaints against registered practitioners.
- Enforcing professional conduct standards.
